God called Frank home on November 11, 2022, after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 82.
Frank is pre-deceased by his son Jeff, his parents Edgar and Marie, sister Bunny and brothers Raymond and Jerry.
Frank is survived by wife, Ann, and children Laurie (Doug) Smithies, Ron (Christina) Hunt, Janet (Michael) Mahoney, 6 Grandchildren & 11 Great-Grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy Devlin, Lorraine Durrer, Ann Marie (Bob) Doerr; his brothers Don (Shirley) Hunt and Larry (Barb) Hunt.
Frank was born in Carlsruhe, Ontario and migrated west at the age of 16. Frank decided to call Sundre, home in 1988 with his loving wife Ann. Frank loved to spend his time with family, friends, golfing, coffee with the boys, The Lions Club & running his welding business. Frank was always ready to give a helping hand. Frank had a creative gift combined with the innovation to create many wonderful works of art. Many of these are on display around the community today.
