Don Irwin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Janet; son, Mike (Vangie); daughter, Lori (Aaron); his three grandchildren, Drew, Olivia, and Avery; and his brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Serena.
Don was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Angeline; and his sister and brother-in-law, Verla and Ken Sherick.
We want to thank the many friends and community members who have recently shared their memories of Don over the years as sportsman, teammate, equestrian, showman, trainer, farrier, bus driver, builder and, most of all, great friend. The stories of time spent with Don and wonderful experiences at the Irwin farm and with D-Jay Stables have warmed our hearts and made us laugh.
There is no Service planned at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2022.
