1938 – 2025
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Marlene Denice Jamieson on January 5, 2025, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre at the age of 86 years.
She was born on December 17, 1938, on the family farm near Manson, Manitoba. Denice married Addie Jamieson on June 29, 1957 and they raised three sons, Randy, Howard and Troy.
Denice is lovingly remembered by her three sons: Randy (Janice), Howard (Wanda) and Troy (Susan), her twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren as well as her sisters, Carol (Henry) LaRose and Cherlyn (Ken) McCulloch.
Denice was pre-deceased by her parents, Arthur and Alice Rookes, stepfather, William Lamont, brothers Raymond and Lyle Rookes, and her husband of sixty-six years, Addie Jamieson.
A Celebration of Denice’s life will be held at the Innisfail Golf Club Event Centre. 6080 Lakewood Drive, Innisfail, Alberta on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
