It is with great sadness, we say good-bye to our brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend Todd Johnson.
Todd was born in Olds and called it home his entire life. Beyond his tough exterior, he was known for his laugh, bigger smile and kind heart. He had a very soft spot for any animals that entered his life and was always known to have a supply of treats wherever he went. The wild cats in Uptowne Olds always had a warm house and a full dish.
He had two special pets, Jake and Koka were loved and remembered.
Out of high school, Todd took on the job of running the bottle depot. He also worked in the oilpatch and fertilizer business before settling in The Paint Pot where he worked until his passing.
We cherish all the family vacations, ski trips, and get togethers at the river. Our campground warden will be dearly missed, and the river camp won’t be the same without him.
Todd was predeceased by his mom Joyce in 2021 and dad Tom in 2022.
He will be missed by his brother Brad (Darcia, Jarid, Ryley, Taran and Madison), sister R’Nee Gole (Dan, Jesse and daughter Sloan, Jay) and many cousins and friends. A drop in social will be held at Todd’s favorite place, (The River Farm) on Thursday, December 26th. The gate will be open all day with appetizers from 12:00 to 2:00 pm and tributes from 2:00 till 3:00. Please dress casual and for winter outside conditions. For directions and parking instructions please call Brad or R’Nee.
