January 22, 1946 – August 24, 2023
Stanley Robert Johnston passed away peacefully on August 24th at the age of 77. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jude, daughters Shiloh (Mike) and Sierra (Mark) and 4 grandkids, Ethan, Eden, Nolan and Keller. He was predeceased by his parents Charlie Johnston and Bertha nee Skaalen, and brother Donald Johnston.
Stanley was born on January 22nd, 1946 and grew up on the family farm just outside Westlock, AB. After high school he attended NAIT and worked in Exploration Geology for the next 30 years. He resided in Calgary, where he lived and raised his family. He retired to the Barnone in 1999 to live out his dream.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 30th from 4:00-6:00 @ The Hub in Caroline, Alberta. He requested his family and friends come and have a bite to eat and a beverage.
