Bert was born in Rosetown, Sk. Along with 5 brothers and sisters. Edmund, Genny, Paul, Ron & Lucy.
Bert met his wife Grace and were married October 11, 1958, and celebrated 65 years together. Together they had three children, Terry (Joanne), Michele (Jim), Laurel (Dave) and 4 grandchildren Amanda (Ben), Trevor, Paige & Coleman (Heather) and 2 great grandchildren, Olivia & Noah and numerous nieces & nephews.
Bert spent his career with Canadian Propane & ICG. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Loved being outdoors camping, golfing and family card games and watching his favorite hockey team, The Edmonton Oilers.
