1932-2025
Mrs. Gladys Fay Lockrem passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 92 years. She was born in Two Hills, Alberta on July 24, 1932.
On November 25, 1955 Gladys married Raymond Lockrem in Rosemary, Alberta at the LDS Chapel. Soon after, they moved to Olds, then Sundre, and finally to Westward Ho, Alberta.
Gladys worked at the canning factory in the summer in Brooks. In the fall she worked at the dry cleaning plant for 3 ½ months, then got a job in the telephone office. After she was married they moved to Olds, Alberta, where she worked in the telephone office. Once she had kids, she was a stay at home mom with her 3 children.
Gladys loved to write poetry, collect rocks, crochet, knit and do embroidery work. She also loved to go travelling, play softball, curl and go for long walks.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, her mother and father, her sister Olga Dochuk, her brothers George Edward and David Thomas Shore.
Gladys is survived by her three children: Norma Jean(Glenn Woolley) (Calgary), Darryl Ross (Westward Ho), and Hazel Fay Allan(Dave) (Grimshaw); grandchildren Dillan Matthew(Ashley Silva) and Dakota Quinn Trauter(Hayley), Janessa Rae(Kyle Russell) and Jasmine Leigh Allan(Theron Walker); great grandchildren Ellie May Trauter and Hallie Rae Russell.

Funeral service to be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 20,2025 at the LDS Church; 3802-57 Ave Olds, Alberta. Phone number 403-556-3043.
