It is with heavy hearts that we, Shirley’s Family announce her passing on September 25, 2024, at the age of 95+ years at Bethany Care, Didsbury.
Shirley was born to parents August John Ohman and Marjorie Elizabeth Ohman (McBurnie) on March 17, 1929, at the family home in Patricia, Alberta.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Glenda Lynn Klinck, son Davie Ohman Mailer (Traceyann), 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 7 step grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, her daughter Shellene Dawne McMillan, husband David James Mailer, son-in-laws George Klinck and Allen McMillan.
A celebration honouring Shirley’s life will be held on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, at Westerdale Hall, Mountain View County from 1:00-4:00pm.
Our family extends our deepest gratitude to Shirley’s Health Care Team and the support staff who cared for and brightened our Mother’s day while a resident of Bethany, Didsbury.
