Margaret Elizabeth Stevens (nee Pratt), beloved wife of Phil Stevens of Olds, passed away peacefully surrounded with family by her side January 17, 2020 at the age of 72 years.
She was born in Didsbury the 7th of 8 children to Tom and Gertrude Pratt. Margaret led a full and happy life and was fortunate to travel to many amazing places. She was passionate about her family, friends and golf.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Phil; children Janice Stevens (Jak Meyer), Brandon (Tammy)Stevens, Rod (Kenda) Stevens and Julie (Anne) Chambers; grandchildren Natalie, Logan and Austin Stevens, Sydney and Kamryn Meyer. She will be deeply missed by her brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Tom and Gertie Pratt, brothers Robert (Bob) and Edward Pratt.
A Celebration of Life will take place Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #105, Olds. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Olds & District Hospice Society (Box 4231, Olds Alberta T4H 1P8. www.oldshospice.com) an organization dear to Margaret’s heart.
