It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mrs. Brenda McGee of Innisfail, Alberta on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the young age of 59 years.
Brenda was born in Innisfail, Alberta on May 1, 1962. She was raised in the Dickson area and attended school in Spruce View, Alberta. She met her loving husband, Ken while participating in the Innisfail bowling league and they married two years after they began dating, even though she swore she would never marry a farmer. They welcomed their first-born child, Chad shortly after and a few years later, Sarah completed their family. They enjoyed many family vacations together, annual BVJ camping and was always up for a good card game, she would even let you win. She was an avid scrap booker, determined to save all her precious memories to share with her family and friends.
Whether you needed her help with her brilliant Accounting Services or ran into her at any one of the markets she attended, or just chatted on the phone, you felt valued and truly cared for. She will leave a missing piece in our lives!
Brenda will be lovingly remembered by so many, including her devoted husband of thirty years, Ken, her son, Chad and her daughter, Sarah. Brenda will also be sadly missed her sisters, Lucille and Doris. She was predeceased by parents, Borup and Bodil.
A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 104, 5108 - 49 Avenue, Innisfail, Alberta on Tuesday April 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed at www.heartlandfuneralhome.com, on the top right page click “Live Stream” to view just prior to 11:00 a.m. The Service will be posted the next day on Brenda’s page on the website to view.
