It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Douglas Arthur McKillop of Eagle Hill, Alberta following an accident on his farm on October 10, 2024.
Doug will be missed by all who knew him and was known for his kind heart, generous nature and willingness to help others. His sense of humor was known far and wide and he was a great inspiration to everyone he met.
Prior to retirement in 2015, Doug owned and operated Vacuum Rebuilders of Calgary for 25 years, alongside his wife Gail.
Doug is survived by his wife Gail McKillop (Morrison), his daughters Kelly McKillop and her Husband Arnold Gosnell, Jacquie and her husband Nick Day, Grandsons Shawn and Nathan Day, brother David McKillop and Sisters Dawneen McKillop and Danae Shargel.
Memorial service will be held at 1p.m on Saturday October 26, 2024, at the Eagle Hill Community Center located at: 3572 TWP RD 340, Mountain View County, AB. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to STARS Air Ambulance or the Mustard Seed. Heartland Funeral Services Ltd., Olds entrusted with arrangements.
