With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Dale Morgan of Olds, Alberta, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, just shy of his 71st birthday.
Dale will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Shelley, and his sons: Patrick (Jennifer), Thomas (Jessica), and Robert (Kelly). He was a proud grandfather to Isobel, Eli, Naomi, Alfred, and Rueben. He is also survived by his siblings, Patrick (Judy), Danny (Heather), Alan (Valerie), and Sheila (Jerry), as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Dale was predeceased by his older brothers Terry and Jack, and his sister Nola.
Born and raised in the Eagle Hill and Sundre area, with some formative years in Strathmore, Dale developed an early love for learning and an insatiable curiosity about the world. He was known for engaging in meaningful conversations—often with complete strangers—and had a genuine interest in the lives and cultures of people from all walks of life.
In 1980, Dale and Shelley purchased a farm where they would raise their three sons. With a deep-rooted passion for nurturing growth—both in the land and in life—Dale poured his heart into farming. It was a lifelong vocation he pursued with dedication until his final days.
