James Warren Murdock of Mountain View County was born December 23, 1949 and passed away July 12, 2024.
James was the son of the late Jim and Marjorie Murdock. He was a brother to; Ellen Murdock, Bruce Murdock, Margaret Maberly, Pat McAdam; and special friend Brenda and will be remembered by their children and grandchildren.
For over 50 years James (Warren) worked throughout the western provinces as a ‘Rig Pig' and vacuum truck driver. Those close to James knew him to be witty, kind and generous with both his time and resources. He had a huge heart for his animals past and present. He never left his house without his dogs beside him. In the summer he would rig up a fan in his van which blew over a huge wash tub to keep his buddies cool.
James loved growing things and bought a greenhouse to raise vegetables. However, with his busy work schedule he wasn’t always home to water them so he grew a lot of swiss chard delivering it throughout the countryside in giant tubs.
James was a favorite of his nieces and nephews as he was genuinely interested in their lives and enjoyed playing with them. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Okey dokey James, see u on the flip side!
