July 16, 1971 – May 13, 2024
Renee Lehree Neufeld, of Didsbury, AB, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 52 years.
The world became brighter on July 16, 1971, the day Renee was born, and on May 13, 2024, GG and Granny were there to greet her with open arms.
Renee is survived by her soulmate and partner Terry Black, and their children, Chantelle, Patrick, and Madison (Justin); father Randy, mother Rita (Ted), brother Ryan (Cathy), nephew Jesse, sister Ralene, nephew Jordan, her father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Arlene, Colleen (Eric), nephew Nic, and niece Darby, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
There are not enough words to sum up the life of such a beautiful person. Renee had the biggest heart, she was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. You could not ask for a better defender than Renee if you needed one. Renee embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit and an unending generosity for her family and friends. Renee loved camping, including sitting by the fire, going on adventures on the side by sides, playing cards, golfing, going to concerts, travelling, and cheering on her children’s and their cousins’ sports teams; as well as her favourite teams, the Bills and the Penguins.
Our family sends our deepest thanks to everyone that has offered their loving support during this most difficult time. Nae is not gone, she lives in those of us that were blessed to have her in our lives. We are grateful and know that she is rocking the cosmos and tearing up her new home in her side by side.
Renee’s Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Wear Red Canada (University of Ottawa Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin Street, Room S-112Ottawa, ON K1Y 4W7) Telephone: 1-866-399-4432, www.wearredcanada.ca.
If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
