Bruce Wayne Notley of Calgary, AB passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the age of 81 years.
Born in Olds, Bruce lived his entire life in Alberta. He was predeceased by his parents, James Walter Notley and Frances Mary Grant Notley; and his brother, Walter Grant Notley. He is fondly remembered by his niece Rachel Notley and his nephews, Paul and Stephen Notley.
Bruce loved the outdoors and was an avid coffee connoisseur. Bruce liked to kayak in the Glenmore Reservoir and loved to cycle around Calgary and in the mountains. He enjoyed his electric bike and scooter as well as long conversations about politics. Rather than taking the bus to see his dear friend Susan Myshyniuk, he walked... a whole 6 kilometers!
He was sweet, kind in nature, very forgiving and loved his life on the farm, before moving to Calgary. He spoke fondly of his memories of his beloved brother, mother and father, always holding them close to his heart. Bruce never forgot Grant's children at Christmas and was always excited at getting them a small gift to remember them by. He was very proud of them.
