1959 – 2025
It’s with tremendously heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Robert (Bob) Packer, who left us on the morning of March 27, 2025, at the age of 65.
Bob was born on May 14, 1959, in Olds, Alberta. He was a cherished Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, and valued friend to many. He left a profound lasting memory to anyone he interacted with, because of his soft, charming, and approachable personal characteristics. He had an unquestionably deep amount of love and care for anyone he crossed paths with.
Bob is survived by his wife Jackie, 2 sons, Justin (Kelsey and their children Ezra and Ivy), Cody (Jacky and their 2 sons Oliver and Lincoln), as well as siblings, Donna (Tony), Jim (Gwenda), Tom (Kay), Fran (Bob), Danny (Judy), Darryl (Julie), Gregg, Steve, and Teresa, numerous nieces and nephews, also including his second family here in town at Clear Rush. He is predeceased by his sister Wendy, as well as his brother Donny. Bob's family and friends will never stop cherishing the memories they have of him, and the inviting smile he so often displayed.
A celebration of life will be held at the McDougal Chapel on April 14, at 11 am. Fellowship to follow, for both family and friends to honour and share the priceless memories and stories that we all have of Bob.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Mustard Seed in Red Deer, Alberta.
