Noella Paul passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2021, in Didsbury, AB at the age of 64. She was born in McLellan AB, the seventh of eleven children, to Lionel and Armande Drouin. Noella grew up on a farm near Guy, AB.
As a young adult both her and her future husband found their way to Edmonton and to each other’s hearts. They enjoyed 31 years together before his passing in November, 2008. Together they moved to Manitoba where they had their first child, a daughter. In 1979 they moved back to Alberta and settled in Olds. Here they had two sons and raised their family.
Noella was a hard worker and an excellent homemaker. She had a very nurturing spirit. During her younger years she enjoyed baking and canning goods for her family. She could also be found at the sewing machine, mending a pair of pants or creating little dresses. Noella also worked outside the home for many years as a waitress in the finer establishments in Olds. She also worked at a pharmaceutical company for seven years. Family and being part of a family unit was very important to Noella.
