1958 - 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Lee Pederson (Felker) on November 20, 2024 at her home unexpectedly in Eagle Hill. Sharon was born on in Olds Alberta to Shirley and Leonard Felker.
She grew up with a love of family and the country life style. She met the love of her life, Ken Pederson and they were married March 4, 1978. Together they raised a family of four children on the family farm in the Eagle Hill area. Sharon spent her time growing a large array of flowers in her many flower beds. Evenings were spent on her deck appreciating her flowers and the view of the river valley.
She enjoyed crafts, reading and spending time with horses. Visits with grandchildren were always cherished as she lit up with joy with every visit. Card making was a large part of her more recent years, getting her out in the community and allowing her to express her artistic talents.
She is survived by her mother Shirley Felker, her sister Karen (Charlie) Cox, her brother Allan (Tara Pomrenski) Felker; her four children Cassandra (Aaron) Stromsmoe, Daniel (Chelsea) Pederson, Renee Pederson, Jessica (Craig) Millang and grandchildren: Sean & Seth Pederson, Alexa & Ayden Stromsmoe, Edwin & Margot Millang.
Sharon was predeceased by her husband Ken Pederson, father Leonard Felker and brother Lorne Felker.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday November 29 2024 at the Garrington Community Church @ 2pm. Heartland Funeral Services Ltd., Olds entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be made or viewed at www.heartlandfuneralservices.com
