It is with great sadness that the family of Keith Pettyjohn announce his sudden passing on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at the age of 83 years.
Keith was born at Merry Flat, Saskatchewan on November 29, 1937. He married Carol on October 21, 1960 and together they farmed and ranched at Merry Flat until 1973 when they moved their Red Angus cattle operation west of Bowden.
Keith was involved in the Bowden Light Horse Club since the mid 70’s. He loved his mules and was an avid rider doing numerous riding, pack and wagon trips in Alberta’s west country.
Keith will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol of 60 years; sons Trent of Bowden, Kevin and family of Olds and Eric and family of New Zealand; 4 brothers Gordon (Marlene), Art (Ida), Raymond (Ann-Renee), Roy (Rose); 2 sisters June Bell and Doreen (Tom) Dueck.
He was predeceased by his parents Preston & Beulah and brother Jim.
