Dorothy Claire Pierunek (nee) Burlet) passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2022 at the age of 79 years.
Dorothy was born August 17, 1943 in Barrhead, Alberta to Fred and Anna Burlet. Dorothy was the youngest daughter of 6 children.
Dorothy is survived by her 5 children, Suzanne (Gord), Marianne (Doug), Darlene (Randy), Paul (Susan), Diane (Randy).
13 Grandchildren, Shannon (John), Devin (Marilyn), Jennifer (Shawn), Kyle, Sean, Tanner, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Logan, Sidney, Jackson, Gillian and Jackson.
7 Great Grandchildren, Braydon, Lucas, Zackary, Mason, Alexander, Matthew and Jacob.
2 Great, Great Grandchildren, Layson and Colt.
Brother, Frances, Sister-in-Laws, Fran, Alice, Ingrid and Louise. Brother-in-laws Hank, Roy and Arden.
Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband, Larry, her parents, Fred and Anna, brothers, Ed, Len, Jack and sister Esther.
Dorothy resided in the Olds/Sundre vicinity since 1980, where her and Larry retired to their acreage in the Eagle Hill area. Dorothy spent the last 2 years of her life living in Sundre with Diane and Randy.
Dorothy loved spending time with her loved ones. She will be greatly missed by many.
Dorothy’s Celebration of life was held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at the Olds Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sundre Hospital Futures
