June was born near Beiseker, Alberta. She was the oldest of six children born to Edward and Lena Teierle. She married Allan Sailer of Elkwater on September 19, 1959 and had two children Darrell and Cheryl. They lived in several places, but her fondest memories were of living in Nordegg until 1972 and living in the Didsbury/Olds area from the mid 70’s to 2013. In 2013 she moved to Rocky Mountain House to be closer to her surviving family members. June passed away peacefully December 14 in Rocky Mountain House.
She is predeceased by her husband Allan (2007), daughter Cheryl Pedersen (2005), both her parents and four siblings; Dale, Leroy, Janice and Ray.
She is survived by her son Darrell (Judy), grandchildren Justin (Kate) Sailer of RMH, Jenna (Trevor) Marcinek of Stauffer and Austin (Elyse) Pedersen of Olds, six Great Grandchildren and one surviving brother Patrick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows in Rocky Mountain House with interment to follow at the Olds Cemetery.
