Garry William Sande passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. Garry was born in Olds, Alberta on December 30, 1948, to Linda and Olav, and grew up in the Sundre area.
Garry was predeceased by his wife Allaine “Ally”, his brother Arnold and his grandson Zac.
He leaves behind his loving sister Marlene, his sons Scott and Ryan, his daughters-in-law Lisa and Corynn, his grandchildren Leif, James and Kennedy, his step-children Tanya, Tammi and Tyler and their families, as well as many cousins, family members, and countless friends.
Garry is remembered for his light-hearted and jovial spirit, and for his unique sense of humour. He is especially remembered for being able to come up with a quick and clever joke for any scenario. His life was filled with memories and stories that he shared with everyone who'd listen, which made him a lovable and easy-going person to be around.
Garry’s Family would like to thank his amazing friend Verna, for being the best, most caring companion for Garry over the last many months. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th at the Sundre Community Centre, with a Garry-style potluck and party to follow.
