George (Brian) Sanders of Bassano, beloved husband of Cathy Sanders, passed away in Brooks on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 at the age of 76 years.
Brian was born in Innisfail, Alberta on March 31st, 1947, the fifth child of Samual and Murrel Sanders. Brian grew up in the Dixon Dam area and Innisfail. He married Cathy Connon in December 1967.
Brian was a professional Barber but could turn his hand to anything and did. He loved cars and demolition derby racing and was an avid collector of anything and everything. Brian semi-retired, still keeping busy and finally retired two years ago.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister and his son Lance.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Catherine; brother, Cliff Sanders; his daughters, Crystal (Michael) and Vicky (Franco); his grandchildren Rachael, Rebecca, Christopher and Heather and 1 very special great-grandchild, Grace.
