November 10, 1962 - April 16, 2024
It is with great sadness we announce Ron Schmidt has passed due to a heart attack. He lived east of Carstairs for more then a quarter century where he learned to farm for many years, he began operating his own trucking business Bullet Express hauling lots of farm animals and materials of all kinds all across Canada and the US.
He also worked the Rigs for many years and also worked as a heavy equipment operator for a while.
He loved the need for speed whether it be dirt biking, boating, ski-doing, 4x4ing, there was never a dull moment!
He’s well known and one of a kind man who blazed his own trail on this earth.
He is forever loved and will be deeply missed by his Wife Jody, son Rylee, who made him so proud. His daughter Cassidy, whom he was just as proud of and who gave Ron his pride and joy Lincoln, his grandson, his sister Linda and brother Gord, nieces and nephews, among many other relatives.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on July 27, 2024 at the Carstairs Community Hall at 1:00 pm.
