TRIBUTE TO A FRIEND

Keith left us September 23,2022.

Over his 72 years of life Keith touched many lives and hearts.

If you had the privilege of knowing Keith, you will have memories of this amazing man that will bring a smile, a chuckle or even a tear or two as you reminisce in the coming years.

As Keith did not wish for a celebration in his honour, family, friends and associates thought we would share some memories of our dear friend that we will forever remember.

Keith worked many different jobs over the years and owned and operated his own oilfield company and construction equipment. He subcontracted to many firms over the years and had a great working relationship with everyone he worked for and with. When Keith took on a project you could be assured that it would be completed in an expeditious manner and his expertise was greatly admired and appreciated.

A lot of us had the opportunity to work and spend time with Keith over the years. Everyone of us that worked with Keith had nothing but praise about the things he taught us and the respect we all felt for this gentleman. Everyone that worked with Keith came away feeling like they learned a few things from him and looked forward the next time we had the opportunity to be around him as there was never a boring moment when Keith was around.

Keith would show up wearing his favorite 45 bullet on a string of rawhide around his neck with that mischievous grin of his and a pocketful of stories. True stories about growing up in Sundre, his ranch west of Sundre, removing old steam engines from the Red Deer River by his ranch and on and on. There were stories about him and friends supplying wild game for New Years eve celebrations that may not have been exactly the same type of roasts that may have been portrayed. He had an endless supply of stories and it was always a treat to hear him relate them.

Keith was good at pretty well everything he put his mind to. He was very intelligent around firearms and was sought out by many for his expertise in that area.

Keith loved rebuilding equipment and owned and rebuilt many old tractors and pieces of equipment. When he was done rebuilding a piece of machinery it was like new and very much usable.

Keith lived his life to the fullest and with no regrets.

He left a family that He loved and friends that will miss him and talk about him many times as the years go by.

We were all touched by our friendship with Keith and the occasions that we were able to spend with our friend. We are all very sad it was his time to leave this world.

Keith, we hope you are smiling wherever you are now and know that your friends are thinking of you. We all know you will keep an eye out for us.

You were a true gentleman and friend in every sense of the word. With our greatest respect: Your family, friends and associates. Rest in peace.
