With sadness, the family of Shirley Tighe announce her passing on Wednesday, February 19,2020 at the age of 88 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Donna Wood, Maxine (Hugh) Godwin, Laurie Ryan; her grandchildren, Kyle (Amie) Ryan, Joel (Rizza) Ryan, Brett Godwin (Heidi Bradley), Katelyn ( Darcy) Jorsvick, Jenna Godwin; great grandchildren, Georgia and Logan Ryan and Theo Jorsvick and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, Ken Wood and Stewart Tighe and all her siblings.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Olds United Church on Friday, February 28 at 1:00 PM. If desired donations can be made in Shirley’s name to the Didsbury and Area Health Foundation, Bag 130, Didsbury, AB T0M 0W0. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.myalternatives.ca
