The family of Tony Silieff is deeply saddened to announce his passing on February 10, 2024, at the age of 75 years.
Tony was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. Tony enjoyed time spent with family and friends, being outdoors and building woodcrafts. He was a quiet man with a big heart that would always help if someone was in need. If it was fixing something, yard work or just being there to lend a hand, Tony was always the first to offer to help. Tony loved watching his grand kids and their activities, he was always there for every hockey game, dance recital or family event. He will forever remain in our hearts.
Tony is survived by his wife, Cathy Silieff; Daughter Tina Johnson (husband Corey, granddaughter Chloe, grandson Dayton), Son Dan Silieff (Wife Jaci, grandson Zach, granddaughter Jessi). Sisters Judy Cameron, Linda Cameron, Evelyn (Vince) Dellepenna, Nancy (Robin) Smith; Brother Todd (Rebecca) Silieff and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Tony & Marion Silieff of Madawaska Ontario.
Special thanks to Olds Hospital Nursing Staff in Acute Care for all your thoughtfulness and care. We would also like acknowledge and thank Dr. Nel (Dr. Duong) for all your support and kindness during Tony's illness. A very special thank you to all our family and friends who have helped and supported us through this difficult time.As requested by Tony no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Olds Hospital & Care Centre.
