Our Loving Son, Ardent Father and Cherished Brother began his new journey at 12:12 pm on a Sunday summer day.
Adrian’s life began in the Sundre hospital at 12:40 pm
Adrian spent most of his younger years in Alberta, travelling to many different locations for work.
The highlight of Adrian’s life, was the joy that he derived with becoming a Dad, which occurred in 2013 with the birth of his only child. He will always be remembered for his love and deep-rooted devotion he had for his son
Shortly after this Adrian moved with his young family to the East Coast
During his time in Nova Scotia, Adrian’s existing passions of nature, art, rock hounding, working with his hands and finding enjoyable work was without a doubt, growing rapidly. His brilliant and clever mind never failed to express his creativity and often led to rich, deep conversations.
Adrian had an immense, sensitive heart and loved to collect rocks and gift them as often as he collected them. He spent his time out in the garden growing his green thumb, painting, fixing things and showing compassion to all forms of life- but his hobbies were endless as he was always searching for new experiences.
Adrian leaves behind his son Dante Smith, His mother Jacqueline Smith, His Father Roy McKinnon, Step Father Andre DeVisser, Sister, Katrina, Brother, Joshua and Step Brothers, Jeremy, and Greg. His Nana and Grandpa Daryl and Mike Smith. Adrian had so many friends, cousins, Aunties and Uncles who loved him- too numerous to mention.
Adrian was pre deceased by his best friend Taarak, very special Grandma, Christine McKinnon, and Cousin, Kelly McKinnon.
A Celebration of Adrian’s Life will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 1:00 at The Sundre Elks Hall
