1929 – 2020
Mr. Stanley Orlo Snideman of Innisfail, Alberta passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Stanley was born to Ward and Geneva (nee Forrester) Snideman on July 20, 1929 in Red Deer, Alberta.
He was very active in the community with Historical Research, and numerous other contributions. Stanley will be lovingly remembered by his eldest daughter, Carol Hargreaves and her family, his daughter, Sandra Watkins and his son, Allan Snideman; his grandson, Derris Watkins, his granddaughter, Robyn (Watkins) Smillie and his great grandchildren, Zakk Smillie, Taisia Watkins and Miles Watkins. He will also be sadly missed by his one niece and his five nephews; as well as other family and friends. Stanley was predeceased by his wife, Teresa (nee Tamas) Snideman, a brother, Laverne Snideman and a sister, Dorothy Harrison.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Sunset Manor, Innisfail for the wonderful care provided to Stanley in his final two years. Also, a very special thank you to Stanley’s wonderful niece, Linda (Harrison) Taylor and her husband, Brian for the many years of family care and attention they gave to him; as well as grateful thanks to Heartland Funeral Services, Innisfail for their care and compassion.
