Margaret Patricia Stirton (Pat) of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away peacefully in Calgary on July 12, 2023 at the age of 82 years old.
Pat was born in Calgary, Alberta to Wilfrid and Margaret Jopp. She grew up and lived in Olds, Alberta and county until 1989 when she made Lethbridge, Alberta her home. Pat loved to share her many passions including music, photography and reading, over a cup of coffee or a walk along the river bottom. Pat will be greatly missed for her silly sense of humor and the kindness she showed to all.
Pat is lovingly remembered by her children Lin (Karl) Greatorex and Clarence Stirton (Erin Elford), Sister Sharon Paskin (and family), grandchildren: Dannielle (Aaron), Nelson (Shawney), Jamie Lin, Taylor, Annie, Colton and her many great grandchildren. As well as her nieces: Lilian, Victoria, Lindsay, Dallas, and Darelle.
Pat is pre-deceased by her son Jamie Stirton, Brother Ernie Jopp, and husband Lincoln Stirton.
Pat loved and cared deeply for those around her. Her legendary hugs will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in peace,
knowing that her memory will inspire and guide those who loved her.

A Celebration of Life for Pat will be held at Salmon & Sons Funeral Home in Lethbridge, Alberta, on Saturday, July, 29th 2023 at 2:30 pm. 433 Stubb Ross Rd. S. (entrance to airport), Lethbridge.
