The family of Gwendolyn (Gwen) Susan Ulry is deeply saddened to announce her sudden passing on April 7, 2022, at the age of 73.
She has gone to be with her Saviour. Gwen was born in Calgary, Alberta on April 27, 1948. She lived most of her adult life in Calgary and surrounding area until she moved to Arizona with her husband Derrald.
They returned to Canada to live in Osoyoos, BC for several years and eventually made their way back to Olds, Alberta. Gwen’s family was always the most important to her.
She will be dearly missed by her husband Derrald; sister Lorna Lynn Raines; children Troy Koppang (Angela), Trisha Koppang-Powers (Ryan), and step-son Trevor Koppang (Jackie). She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Riley, Kevin, Brendan, Breanna, Phillip, Andrew and Amanda, Karlee and Khloe; nieces, nephews and many close friends will also mourn Gwen’s passing.
Gwen was predeceased by her parents, Rex and Florence Warman and her sister F. Shirley Fyke.
A memorial service will be held at her church, Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church, 51 Alford Ave., Red Deer, Alberta on April 19, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to CAWES (Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter https://cawes.com/contribute/donate.
