1936 - 2021
S. Jean Unrau (Walker) passed away peacefully with her family at her side March 15, 2021 at the age of 84.
Jean was active through her years helping others and loved to be creative. Since moving to Carstairs she was a member with the IODE for over 25 years.
Jean is lovingly remembered by her husband Peter of 64 years; 3 daughters Pat (Dennis) Luft, Susan (Richard) Fleurant and Beverley Greysson; her sister Bev (Wes) Tyhy; brother Gary (Pat) Walker; 4 grandchildren Rachelle, Jessica, Calvin and Jasper and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Jim & Anne Walker and her brother Allan.
A private family gathering will be held in Carstairs at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Foothills Medical Centre (Calgary Health Foundation) for lung or heart research or S.T.A.R.S. Air Ambulance.
