Mrs. Joanne Cecilia Voeller (nee Campbell) was born January 5, 1963 in Bow Island, Alberta, to Allen and Fern Campbell. Joanne embarked on a journey with her soul mate, Vern Voeller forty-three years ago, that lead her to Innisfail, Alberta where they raised their two sons, Blair and Brian. Joanne’s nurturing devotion to her entire family was nothing less than extraordinary.
Joanne worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Innisfail IDA for twenty-three years; and in her spare time, you could find her out for a walk or reading a novel in her flower garden. Joanne’s grace, poise and vivacious love of life was reflective in everything she did. Joanne thrived as a mother, and that continued to flourish when she became a grandmother to Hannah, Paige, Hayden and Nate.
Joanne will forever be remembered and cherished by her husband, Vern and their sons, Blair Voeller (Lana Voeller) and Brian (Gloria) Voeller, sisters; Judi (Harvey) Jesse, Karen (Harvey) Sevigny, brother-in-law; Don Sommerstad, Vern’s parents; Fred (Carol) Voeller, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Joanne is predeceased by her parents, sister Brenda Sommerstad, brother Blair Campbell and great nephew, Jake Jesse.
A Private Celebration of Joanne’s life will be held at a later date.
