1931 – 2025
Alastair Wattie, age 93 of Sundre, Alberta passed away March 4, 2025, in Olds, Alberta.
Alastair was born December 22, 1931, in Hughenden, Alberta. He was the third child in a family of five children to Esten and Bessie Wattie. He is survived by his loving sisters Bette Anderson, Jamie Merrell and brother Merrill Wattie. Al was predeceased by his parents Esten and Bessie Wattie and his brother Rob Wattie.
Al is survived by his seven children: Allan (Debra) Wattie, Terry (Denise) Wattie, Kevin Wattie, Brent Wattie, Raven Harline, Pamela Wattie, Lynn (Billy) Lafreniere and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. He was very proud of his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held March 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the James River Hall with a luncheon that will be open to all friends and family. Please join the family to celebrate Al’s life.
A private graveside service was held prior to the service at the Eagle Valley Cemetery.
