1929 – 2023

Bill passed away at the ripe age of 94 years.

He is succeeded by his sister, Rene; and his loving wife of 72 years, Lenore. The results of their love bore sons, Mark, Brent, Wayne, and twins, Richard and Robert.

Bill had a long, happy life and enjoyed many varied interests. In nature, he was truly in his element. Photography, hunting, fishing, skiing, crossword puzzles, and just walking his dog, Bill excelled at all. He sold his pictures to newspapers in Calgary and Vancouver, was a fish and game officer in Coleman, a county secretary  treasurer for Barrhead and Grande Prairie, retiring as a field officer for the Alberta Department of Education. Bill even saved five BC schools from closure during a vacation, because he enjoyed the challenge.

Bills's final days were happy ones, surrounded by family and friends. He especially enjoyed being with his friends at a local Sherwood Park coffee shop that he frequented.  He will be deeply missed!

Cremation has taken place, and a Service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to Foster & McGarvey Edmonton South Funeral Home.
