It is with profound sadness and gratefulness for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Willard Wolansky of Sundre and previously Boyle, AB at the age of 82 years.
Willard is survived by daughter Lisa (Troy) Wenger and their children Laura(Josh) and child Remi, Sara(Trevor) and child Sophia, and Portia at home; daughter Danalee (Victor) Gascon, their children Reese and Katie-Ann; and daughter Gwen Wolansky; one brother, Lloyd Wolansky and sister-in-law Valrie Wolansky and many extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Anne in 2008, an infant son born still, parents Bill and Nellie Wolansky, sister Valerie, and brothers Douglas and Peter (at infancy).
Highly regarded in his professional and home communities, Willard worked mainly in the oil & gas industry, first as a boilermaker and then in maintenance and turnaround in Canada and the United States. He had a deep love of farming and a passion for team-driving horses, learning the trades of auctioneer and farrier.
A Celebration of Willard’s life was held Friday, October 6 at 11 a.m. at Caslan Community Hall, Joe Kuraitis officiated.
