It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Anthony Woods on December 20th, 2022 at the age of 69 years after a courageous battle with cancer.
Michael was born on August 7th, 1953 in Tonbridge, Great Britain. He immigrated to Canada in May 1976. Starting out in Ontario, going to British Columbia and then settling in Olds, Alberta. From the time he was old enough to go to work in England, he was involved with agriculture and continued to be when arriving in Canada.
Michael was also involved in the trucking industry connected with agriculture. Family and friends were very important to Michael.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia. His son, Adrien (Cas, Shai, Kael and Auralia); brother, Brian; a sister, Alison, and their families. As well as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended families and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Adrien and Brenda). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Bergen Missionary Church, Bergen, AB at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be made or viewed at www.heartlandfuneralservices.com
