July 4, 1944 - August 18, 2022
Gerald Douglas Zinn born July 4, 1944 entered into rest with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 18, 2022 in Olds, Alberta at the age of 78.
He was predeceased by his father, Orville Zinn of Mayton, Alberta and his mother Elizabeth (Conway) of Artas, South Dakota.
He left his loving wife, Ruth (nee McCulloch) of 55 years, and daughter Lorraine Zinn of Edmonton, Alberta to mourn his loss, but rejoiced in the time he spent with family and friends.
Gerald wore many hats in his lifetime but his heart always remained on the farm. Some of Gerald’s other accomplishments included working at the Co-op, selling real estate, driving for Chinook Edge and the Sunshine bus line, volunteering at Joy Fellowship elders’ lunch, having tea with “the boys” at the lodge and sitting with people in their last days through the Hospice Society.
Gerald will be greatly missed but we know he is strolling over Heaven with his Lord. A service was held on August 25, 2022 at the First Baptist Church.
