$350 worth of meat stolen from Westview Co-op in Olds

OLDS — RCMP are asking for your help to find a suspect who is alleged to have stolen $350 worth of meat from the Westview Co-op in Olds. 

The incident occurred on Jan. 19. 

Olds RCMP say between 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. on that day, a man with white hair, believed to be in his 50s or 60s walked into the meat section of the Westview Co-op. 

On surveillance video, he could be seen looking around for staff. He was then was seen placing meat from the meat cooler into his grocery cart and putting a large package of toilet paper over the stolen meat, apparently to conceal it. 

He then walked out of the store past the tills and cashiers without paying for his groceries.
