Fifteen OKCS runners in top 10

Fifteen Olds Koininia Christian School (OKCS) students finished in the top 10 in a cross-country run for kindergarten to Grade 6 students. More than 1,200 students in the Chinook's Edge School Division participated in the event, held Oct.

Fifteen Olds Koininia Christian School (OKCS) students finished in the top 10 in a cross-country run for kindergarten to Grade 6 students.

More than 1,200 students in the Chinook's Edge School Division participated in the event, held Oct. 6 in Innisfail and organized by Innisfail Middle School.

Students in kindergarten to Grade 2 ran one kilometre (K). Students in grades 3-4 ran 1.5 K and those in grades 5-6 ran 2 K.

“Most categories had well over 100 runners in each race,” OKCS learning support team member Donna Wilson says.
