The cause of a fire that consumed a truck in Olds on Jan. 14 is under investigation.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene, in the 4200 block of 47th Avenue, near CLS (Central Logistic Solutions) north of the UFA facility, at 4:20 p.m. that day.
"Upon arrival, crews encountered a highway tractor involved in fire with flames beginning to extend to a nearby tank trailer," an Olds Fire Department news release says.
Eleven firefighters and three fire apparatuses extinguished the fire within six minutes. Damage was contained to the highway tractor unit.
No injuries were reported.
