Families with children five and under will want to drop by Olds Municipal Library as it hosts the Alberta Prairie C.O.W. (Classroom on Wheels) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to celebrate Family Literacy Day on Jan. 27.

Parents can learn new ideas for family literacy to use at home in a fun, interactive 30-minute class. Programs run every 30 minutes, so dropping in is easy. Plus, the library will provide lunch from 12 to 1 p.m.

The Centre for Family Literacy will present a legacy gift to the library at 1 p.m. that day.

- Nischuk is the Olds Municipal Library's marketing coordinator.
