Olds collision sends 67-year-old woman to hospital

OLDS — Police are continuing to investigate a collision on Highway 27 in Olds that involved a 67-year-old woman.

The collision occurred on Friday, April 16 at the intersection of 46th street (Highway 27) and 51st Avenue.

Emergency services personnel got the call at 12:07 p.m. Olds RCMP, fire and ambulance workers responded.

Cst. Morley Statchuk of Olds RCMP says a 67-year-old woman was struck by a sport utility vehicle driven by a 49-year-old woman.

“The pedestrian was transported to Olds hospital with unknown injuries,” he wrote in an email.
