OLDS — The annual Terry Fox Run to raise money for cancer research is almost upon us.
As always, the event begins at the Olds Fire Department hall.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the run, walk, rollerblade or cycle event starts at 11 a.m. People in wheelchairs are also welcome, as are dogs on leash.
Participants have a choice of doing a five kilometre (K) or a 10K route.
Organizer Mike Liepic says the event is a go, rain or shine.
As of Tuesday, Sept. 3, $120 had been raised. The goal is $1,100.
