OLDS - No official tally has been given yet as to how many collisions occurred Friday morning on Highway 2 between Didsbury and Olds.
Multiple collisions due to poor road conditions were reported by area fire departments and RCMP detachments.
By noon Friday, multiple collisions which closed northbound Highway 2 about three kilometres north of the Didsbury overpass had been cleared.
Earlier, jack-knifed semis were cleared from Highway 2 at the Didsbury overpass.
As of noon, emergency crews were still on Highway 2 in the southbound lanes, south of the Olds overpass, with multiple semi trucks jack-knifed in both directions and other vehicles involved in collisions.
