OLDS — Repairs and maintenance to the Aquatic Centre could be completed by the end of this month, according to Scott Chant, the town’s director of operations.
Chant made that prediction during town council’s policies and priorities meeting on June 1.
Chant said the pool has been drained and washed and workers have begun re-grouting all the tiles.
Chant said pumps for a small lift station there are expected to arrive by mid June.
“They’re well on target to be up and running by the end of June and have everything completed,” Chant said, adding staff have the matter “well handled.”
