OLDS — RCMP are continuing to investigate a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 2A just south of Olds the evening of Dec. 8.
Olds RCMP Cst. Morley Statchuk says the collision, involving a white Ford SUV and an Oldsmobile, was reported at 5:02 p.m. Wednesday. The driver of car was a youth and the driver of the SUV was an adult.
Statchuk said both drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital for assessment of those wounds.
“The roads were slippery," Statchuk wrote in an email. “(The) car apparently struck (the) SUV, causing it to roll over.
“The exact cause not known,” he added. “The file is still under investigation.”
