Olds RCMP is investigating multiple thefts from vehicles that occurred in the past weeks.
On April 9, a resident reported that a GPS had been stolen from a red Pontiac Sunfire, which was parked in the 5600 block on 55 Avenue.
A second GPS was also reported stolen from a blue GMC Duramax truck, which was parked in the same area.
“In both cases, the vehicles had been left unlocked,” said Cpl. Troy Byrt, Olds RCMP.
Since then, the list of stolen items has grown to include an iPod dock, a wallet, a backpack, identity cards, and an iPod.
“There isn't really one specific area of town that has been subjected to all the thefts,” said Cpl. Byrt.
The RCMP recommends keeping car valuables out of sight.
