Were you a student in Olds for Canada's Centennial Celebration in 1967? If so, the Albertan wants to talk to you.

From the February 9, 1967 edition of the Olds Albertan, our article mentions a ring and crest designed and worn by students to celebrate Canada's 100th birthday.

"Kary Muir, speaking for the Olds Students' Union of the Olds High School, told the meeting of the students' plan to design a Centennial ring and crest to be worn by every student in the Olds High and Junior High School. In addition the Students intend to raise $1,000 for the installation of a student designed stained glass window in the new Junior High School complex that is expected to be built in Olds by the County of Mountain View No.17."

If you have this ring and crest, the Olds Albertan wants to talk to you about the Centennial and the past 50 years. Please get in contact with us at [email protected].
