In 2016, Seasons Retirement Communities created the Pennies for Poppies campaign to honour veterans who live in their Olds facilities.

Each year since then, the company has collected pocket change from staff, families, community members and residents to support the Olds Legion.

As part of the campaign, paper poppies with donors’ names are posted in each facility to create a Remembrance Day display.

Additionally, Seasons team members "plant" hundreds of paper poppies in facility gardens to create a visual display of commitment to honour all those who have served the country.
